Branscombe Two Tone Blue Kitchen
Project Background
This large traditional house in Branscombe, Devon required a new and extended kitchen. The client brief was for a functional family kitchen, but also providing facilities for guest catering and a private ‘snug’ area. A dedicated hob and oven ‘cooking area’ utilises an old chimney alcove to create the chefs work space. The snug area provides a secluded dining area alongside a large storage area.
Products Used
The kitchen incorporates traditional raised and fielded timber doors painted in pale blue and mid blue tones with contrast quartz worktops in carrara white marble effect. With all new Neff built-in appliances including the latest ‘hide and slide’ ovens, larder fridge and freezer and integrated dishwasher. All of the laundry facilities are housed in a separate room off the kitchen.
The entire kitchen, snug and utility floors are tiled in porcelain wood effect planks complete with electric underfloor heating to keep the winter chill away.
