4homes are delighted to be hosting a ‘Blooming Great Tea Party’ on Friday 27th June 2014 from 2pm at their 12-14 High Street, Sidmouth showroom. All are welcome to come and have a cup of tea (or coffee for the non tea drinkers !) along with cup cakes designed by Frances Quinn (last years Great British Bake off winner).
All we ask is for donations for the tea and cakes – all proceeds going to a great cause.
The costs for all of the tea cakes and promotional materials are kindly being donated by Franke – the leading supplier of sinks and taps in the UK.
Says Mike Parrish, director at 4homes – “We’re thrilled to be hosting our own ‘Blooming Great Tea Party’ and we intend to raise as much money as possible to help Marie Curie nurses provide care for terminal cancer sufferers, either in their own homes or at one of the charity’s hospices. Money raised at local level can be directly channelled to a local hospice so this a superb community based project that everyone can make a positive contribution to. Our thanks go to Franke and bakery ingredients manufacturer, Bakels, for supplying the delicious cupcakes and we’re hoping for a great turn out on the day.”
Frances Quinn has also created two other exclusive fun-to-bake recipes for Franke based around the theme of tea party biscuits – a Giant Chocolate Oaty Biscuit and a delicious Bourbon Biscuit Chocolate Cake. In return for a donation to Marie Curie, visitors to the tea party not only get a free cupcake and a cuppa, but are given a copy of all three recipes to take away and bake for themselves at home.
