Salary: from £22,500 depending on experience and qualifications

THE ROLE
Working as part of our showroom design team you will work alongside our existing teams of skilled designers, sales consultants and project administrators in delivering premium home interiors to residential clients throughout East Devon, West Dorset and South Somerset. The role would suit someone with some interior design experience or an individual wanting to progress in the home interiors sector. Future career progression to Showroom Manager and/or Designer are available. Your responsibilities will include;
- Assisting and advising showroom clients with prospective home interior projects from kitchens, bedrooms and bathrooms to complete home refurbishments
- Assisting the design team with the preparation of CAD 3D designs for client kitchens and bathrooms
- Assisting clients with bookings for design consultations
- Assisting the design and delivery team with client work planning and communication
- Maintaining and updating client records in our in-house Customer Relationship Management system and design systems
- Maintaining the showroom to a high standard
- Ensuring that all showroom displays are kept impeccably presented
- Assisting with the showroom design, layout and improvement
- Liaison with suppliers on new product releases, brochures, product pricing and availability
- Developing skills in use of CAD design and quotation systems
- Reporting to our design director
- Five day working week Monday to Saturday (Saturday working on a rota basis with a day off in the week)
PERSON SPECIFICATION
- Have a professional and friendly manner when dealing with all clients
- Confident communicator in person and on the phone
- Have a positive, can do attitude
- Have exceptional customer service skills with the ability to engage customers and communicate with them effectively and confidently
- Have a good understanding of the use of technology including database systems and CAD design software (full training provided on company systems – we use ArtCAD, EasyQuote and KBBConnect software)
- Enthusiasm for delivering great customer service in a busy and competitive environment
- Able to work as part of a small team or independently
- Hold a full, valid UK driving licence (will be checked with DVLA) – mandatory
- Approval to work in the UK – mandatory
